I met a 70 year old black queer woman DJ that is going to teach me. She was THEE DJ 30 years plus for the black lesbian community. So many women were surrounding her and loving on her. I called her “ElderBae” and she responded “LadyElderButch” is best.

This job. It’s my fault partially because I need to go back to assigning work to others but my colleagues have to also fall in line. Not enough delegating support. Which I get that people want to be nice but this isn’t about nice it’s about being efficient and right now we are not efficient.

Finding friends and or associates in LA is really easy when you start putting yourself out there for that. I have an invite or options to go and hang out with folks through Tuesday. There are also solo options. I do not go out every night. It feels good to know where quality community is.

There is a 77 year old black woman in my yoga class that put us all to shame. This woman used the Pilates/dance rail to balance her pose. The way in which she tucked her right leg into her right thigh and held that bitch STEADY and sturdy. Motha was SNATCHED. Shame.
