You know I'm about #indiegame positivity, but this needs to be addressed. Using AI to generate an email pretending you care what my channel is about to market your game (that's also filled to the brim with genAI) is not and never will be okay. I felt gross reading this.

I used to use Google notifications on my phone for game news all the time. Pops up an alert and I tap it to go to the article. Now it just links to the damn AI and asks the AI to do the search for me (WHY?), so I can't even use a basic feature on my phone anymore. Google can burn

Does anyone #gamedev #indiedev know of any Godot tutorials that involve capturing in-game images and storing them in the game's files to be recalled in other menus? The current system I have gives a lag-spike whenever a photo is taken and I know there's got to be a better way!

I don't normally use Unity and I'm still learning things as I go so this has me stumped 💀 I've been messing with a lot of animation root settings, I made the rig the child of an empty, I even made a new root bone that's fixed at 0,0,0 and re-exported. Not sure what else to try

Hey #gamedev #indiedev peeplios who use Unity, I exported rig animations for an in-game cutscene from Blender to Unity, but for some reason Unity is making all of the rigs and objects very slowly drift sideways even when they should be perfectly still. Been troubleshooting for hooours, please help 😭

Some games have borderless that doesn't go fullscreen if you set it to less than the monitor res. Some lock the res to your monitor size. Some don't even have a borderless option. All of those cases can be rough to work around depending on how they act with my Borderless Gaming program.

Windowed borderless that allows you to adjust the resolution is major. Borderless lets me overlay my chat/alerts over the game and lets more resources to go to my bots and vtuber software. Resolution changes because my monitor is 4K but I'm running way too many programs to be able to stream at that.
