Does anyone else feel like they’re getting dunked on right now? I feel like life is dunking my ass right now. What I do know - is that life has dunked me into some deep waters before but I always figured it out. May not have been graceful, but I always ok. This will pass, it’ll be alright.

I haven’t felt like I’ve had a comfortable space to rehearse in months. I’m bless with a pretty spacious costume room - but I feel really out of touch with moving my body. It’s also hurting A LOT more - my bones are angry. I almost feel like I’m in a procrastination freeze with rehearsing

I felt myself go, “ok I’m ready to start more burlesque again” and I booked myself for a couple shows. I then looked at my old ass costumes and said, naw, go lock yourself in your costume room for a few months. I have one show in May, excited to take some time to polish up these costumes. ♥️

Cool thing I did today - partnered with Jax Period Pantry! They work to provide free menstrual products and have these cute lil pantries set up all over Jacksonville. For burlesque bingo we’ll be donating a portion of our proceeds - my goal is to stock one of their pantries from this event!

A few weeks ago my boyfriend asked for some “face lotion” I told him to help himself to one of three moisturizers in the bathroom. I rotate through them but there’s one I haven’t touched in awhile. opened it tonight and it’s been very obviously used by him I think it’s adorable that he’s using it!

I loved the halftime show. I’ve watched it so many times since. It was a really rad reminder to me of why I’ve always loved art. The symbolism, it was such a blatant protest of what’s been happening and currently is America. Artist really show up when we need them most. Don’t give up. Keep creating
