I'm in so much pain that I can't be honest with most doctors about the level of pain I'm in. Because when I do, they blame it on anxiety and prescribe me more anti depressants. So I'm forced to calmly explain my pain without crying or reacting too much. Medical racism and sexism are very real.

i know this all too well, not as a POC, but as a disabled woman with mental illness. I had a major medical event go undiagnosed for years bc when i went to the ER when it happened, the doc said "oh, you have anxiety? that's all it is, i am not doing any tests, go home.". that's just ONE example.

Soooo important! Older generations tried to pound into our heads that asking for help is a weakness, that even needing it is a weakness. That working despite everything to the point of injury or disadvantage was the better option. It just separates us from community, it punishes people for nothing.

They are no doubt using commercial grade hydrogen peroxide, which as much stronger, takes longer to dissipate and does, in fact, stay toxic far longer than your average over the counter hydrogen peroxide.

They ABSOLUTELY should, but this is not the system that is or has been in place in this broken country. The problem is systemic, it was made this way and uplifts and protects these murderers, abusers, criminals... Statistically, there SHOULD be more of them in prison. But they are protected.

I'm permanently disabled, have been for about 15 or so years. They cut my food stamps this year (after taking them away for 8 months due to a clerical error they refused to fix) to next to nothing. I have medical dietary criteria I can not meet. I can't pick up extra hours. This is by design.
