i have finally completed the smut ficlet and i don't dislike it nearly as much as i thought i would~! 🎉 it was definitely a challenge to write, not just because smut isn't something i've really written before, but also because i gave myself the extra challenge of making 1st person pov 😂

i've had the urge to draw something incredibly self indulgent with my ocs for the past couple of weeks. but every time i try to think of something, the only ideas i get are for gift art. which is good in terms of the approaching holiday season, but not for fulfilling self indulgences.

on tonight's of 'moosie's strange etymology finds', i just learned that the word 'dildo' has its origins sometime around the 1590s.

one of the tips i read about during my smut-writing-research yesterday was that outlining the actions of the scene could be useful. me being a disliker of outlines, ignored that and started to wing it. started having problems. i am now outlining the sex and realizing that yes, this is useful.

Missie Moosie @missiemoosie.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Been looking up tips for writing smut today, and a lot of the articles/pages I found had 'smut dictionaries'. which have honestly been so helpful...except i can't help but also feel a bit disappointed 'cause very few included words for afab anatomy 😔

Real liking this kraken design i’m coming up with. It’s looking similar enough to the original one from potc while also having some differences. Shame most of it’s going to get covered up, tho…

Missie Moosie @missiemoosie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

it's 1am. i'm looking up refs of the kraken from potc's tentacles because my friends wanna see it fucking divine-form!emil. get yourself friends who encourage you to draw monsterfuckery 💚

Missie Moosie @missiemoosie.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

apparently, my dad didn't know i'm queer?? so a conversation about the commission request i got a few days ago inadvertently turned into him finding out lol (luckily he's an ally and wasn't actually too surprised to hear i'm queer because 'you watched Xena and drooled' (i did not drool))

1) sometimes, ya'll flows better than 'you all', especially if you're just talking with friends in informal settings 2) this is 2026. why are we policing language that isn't harmful? it's a contraction, not a slur.

i am finding myself once again contemplating shaving off all my hair so it can all grow in at the same rate. i've currently got an undercut, but i've been missing doing cute styles like pigtails and spacebuns but the short growing in with the long looks ridiculous in a way hats can't hide.

when you make a joke about eating salad after the whole parasite fiasco, and your friend starts ranting about food conspiracy theories. girl. the fault does not lie with lab grown foods. it lies with the big ass money hungry corporations and farms who treat workers like shit and safety as optional.

that feeling when you find a reference image that not only has the actor's face at the right angle, but they're making the exact same expression as the woman on the book cover you're reference. now if only the same could be said for the other character and the references i tried finding for him....

Admin is possibly losing their mind because they said they could hear the urban trees throwing shade…🤷

Trees lining the streets of Downtown Cashmere are casting shade, AND throwing some shade by saying "Oh so just because it feels 20 degrees cooler, you think you are cool now?", "Birch please", "I make oxygen, help filter water, AND help you stay cool…what has your contribution been today?", and "Looks like I am the only neighbor that gets better with age"
