Happy Umi-tober! #umineko #uminekospoilers

Small, one panel black and white comic featuring Lambdadelta, Lion, and Will from Umineko. Lambdadelta is casually holding a bottle of wine and speaking to Battler and Beatrice offscreen. She says "Congrats and thanks for the invite guys! I brought some wine - Oh, and this woke gay couple" In the background, Lion says "I'm not woke" and Will says "I'm not gay" they both look irritated.

I was a guest artist for NEXT!!! Sound of the Future, a Vocaloid fan comic by @ricedeity.online I drew a 20+ page bonus comic about a human idol and her partner Megurine Luka, check it out at nsotf.com !! #comic #art #vocaloid

Comic page. Art by misersdream.
Panel 1: A young woman walks down a hall as her coworkers speak to her. "Good work today!" "See you Monday!"
Panel 2: "Yeah, thanks!" she says. She thinks, "My name is Kotomi. I'm an idol in a duo called Electric Kiss. Tomorrow, I turn 20."
Panel 3: "The farewells from my agency are warmer than usual today, but no one has brought up my birthday."
Panel 4: A voice comes from behind Kotomi. "Ah, wait!"

Comic page.
Panel 1: Kotomi looks behind her and sees someone calling out to her. "Kotomi-san!"
Panel 2: it's Megurine Luka. "Let's get dinner together!" Kotomi's thoughts continue. "Because tomorrow is the day that I officially stop being younger than my idol duo partner..."
Panel 3: Kotomi looks at Luka. "...Which means that the end of my career is on the horizon."

Comic page.
Panel 1: Megurine Luka and her many iterations that vary in appearance. Kotomi's dialogue continues. "Megurine Luka-san is her name. Well, it doesn't belong wholly to her. She's an android. There are hundreds of Megurine Luka-sans across all of Japan."
Panel 2: Luka and Kotomi chat. Kotomi's dialogue continues. "I don't know much about her besides what I've learned about her on variety shows. As idols, we emphasize our gap as senpai and kouhai, and as robot and human."
Panel 3: Luka and another woman whose face is in shadow. Her pose mirrors that of Kotomi's. "I'm following the same relationship dynamic that she had with the girl before me. Her first human partner."

Busts I did of the sophont species in Serietra, minus the Drysalae-- but the Drysalae are weird since they vary a lot, so. We have a Zenti, a Nymlei, a Blatynae, and a Cerilith! [ #concealederrors , #art , #oc ]

Busts of four out of five of the sophont species of Serietra-- all of which pink in color, though varying shades. A Zenti first, pink and cream with gold eyes, a Nymlei, pink and cream as they usually are with gold eyes, a Blatynae, a more hot pink coloration, and a Cerilith, a warmer pink and cream coloration.

I had also done the Drysalae page for my website, and thus also Toyhouse!!! Drew these for it... [ #art , #concealederrors , #oc ]

Sketch of weirdly colored Dysalae as examples.

Small semi-simple Drysalae with a dithering texture.

Sketch dump! Got Aster, and then some Kadin's! ...plus Pepper, belonging to @mel4ncholyhill.bsky.social , hoo hee. [ #art , #concealederrors , #oc ]

A simple sketch of Aster, winking. His open eye is colored in, and he's in his cafe uniform.

Sketch of Kadin in glitch mode. First panel shows them holding their arm, looking forward with an unreadable expression with no smile. The next panel basically has them do a shaft headtilt, leaning back more while looking behind them, now smiling, saying "Oh. Hello, Phoenix. Excellent timing."

Messy sketches of future-monster-Kadin, their eyes and some details colored in. One doodle has them looking forward, two others include Pepper with them, both showing affection to each other. One is them nose booping each other, the other with them hugging each other.

Sketches of Kadin, in a point in time when she experiments with her presentation more.

Webtoons is a brand name. People have been calling the medium "webcomics" for about thirty or so years now. I think this distinction is important.

lrt also while I understand they mostly mean a time without what social media and esp. xitter has wrought ,,, the internet 20 years ago definitely had its issues too laughs but also I know when people say that, they mean the specific parts they're nostalgic for, too

"why can't we go back to how the internet used to be 20 years ago" i think that would be very nice but 20 years ago there were maybe 14 people on the internet in total, that number has grown to "a double digit percentage of the world's population"
