and i think you're fondly remembering coil tops now that you aren't using one because i promise you they take exactly as long to heat up as glass tops, things are slow as shit

you don't really need to be that delicate with it, i drag my cast iron pan across mine all the time and it doesn't damage it. it's also way easier to keep clean than a coil top, those things stain like crazy!! and you can just use this! also you should always wipe down any stove between using it
