Ah, it’s just that the idea that theres a biological difference between race is founded in social Darwinism. Yeah, it exists in class too, but the idea of different races being actually genetically different from one another is very much a major component of social Darwinism.

im not arguing that race is actually founded in biology. it isnt. I think you’re misunderstanding the point. it would be impossible to discuss “race” or “racists” at all if it did not exist.

However, even though it is not actually real in objective reality, that does not mean it “does not exist.” It’s an almost universal societal concept that very much affects everyone. Yes, it is not physically “real” like many people think, but it is still a thing that exists. (2/2)
