In honor of @cirrusparfum.bsky.social Enforced Modesty launch day, allow me to share some of my ramblings I sent to Zoey in the trial stage—where I didn’t have a single note. A testament to how well she imparted the intended notes!

#SOTN : OG Glossier You. My first fragrance that wasn’t one direction themed. I can’t tell if I simply adore this blend or if I’m just nostalgic. Either way, this is such a favorite skin scent & I’m gonna be devastated when it runs out. #SOTD

CW: ouch. Morbid little creative writing piece channeling my fears about probable medication supply chain issues in the impending admin. Not my best work but it felt good to get out. Welcome to the omnipresent fear us disabled & chronically ill folks will be dealing with for the next 4 years.

My public perfume presence has been largely niched down re: content. I’d like to start sharing more of what I do & care about. I’ve been very political since I was a child so expect some of that. Still want to focus on perfume here but there’s more to me I’d like to share!

I have smelled a very close version of this and the reviews are in: GET YOUR NOSE ON THIS ASAP!! The marble note is remarkable. A romantic fig scent that has me yearning to walk barefoot, a candle’s glow lighting my way, through a castle’s overgrown sculpture garden. 10000/10 no notes

#SOTD: Linen Tutu’s Afterthought @ 7. A real life healing potion. Bright, vegetal sea fennel & violet leaves, complemented by soft, airy driftwood. Refreshing, gentle. In the best way, it doesn’t ask much of you. A “salve for the soul” as @bignosetalgia.bsky.social put it. Exactly what I needed.
