That was a stained glass fireplace screen that was falling apart because Miho kept knocking it down, so I took it apart and affixed it to the inside of the fireplace. The rest is glass tiles I bought off Amazon.

Prolly going to do the same thing I did with the rest of the woodwork: use a heat gun to get any remnants of paint off (someone painted all the wood), then sand off the stain & finish with clear poly.

Also, notice that I referred to it as "the dead room?" Because that's what it is and why there's pocket doors (big enough for a casket) and why there used to be a doorway that led to the kitchen (so you can attend to the body without mourners seeing you go in and out of the room).
