Yesterday's news about Jacob Geller broke my heart, so much that I couldn't stop dwelling on it all day. In an effort to make sense of this horrific news and my admittedly complicated feelings about it, here is my article on the Jacob Geller situation: epiloguegaming.com/what-do-we-d...

What Do We Do With Jacob Geller? - Epilogue Gaming

Earlier this week, a friend noticed Jacob Geller’s book, How A Game Lives, sitting amongst my living room shelves. Under almost any other circumstances, this would have been an exciting invitation for...

The main work is finally done for Silver Witch Princess Vai. Here's a preview of the first episode:

Title screen of Silver Witch Princess Vai

"There was much work to be done if Mauveine was to give Vai a comfortable, safe life here in this little harbor town. More than anything, she needed that. As much trouble as it might be, the girl deserved a quiet life."

Vai: I'm going to cast a spell. Don't distract me.

I’ve made it further in Persona 5 Royal than I did with P5 ten years ago but I think that’s only intensified my hatred towards it.

The overwhelming thing I feel looking at this Ocarina of Time remake in this present moment is despair. Call it pretentious or doomer behavior or whatever you want. I'm not commenting on whether it's a good game. I just feel a deep sadness knowing people worked so hard for the sake of my "nostalgia"

i am pretty staunchly anti-remake to the point of even really good remakes (like Live A Live) where i still look at them and think you know you could have just ported the original and spent these 5 years making something new

I’m going from Ace Combat 7 to 4 and I just think the ps2 games are better. 4 feels cheaper but it’s presented with more charming anime slides instead of long and boring cg scenes.

Played the intro of #higurashi with some friends and had to doodle my first impressions of the group dynamic

Drawing of Mion and Rena from Higurashi.
Mion: “Hey Rena-chan, do you know the difference between Jelly and Jam?”

Drawing of Satoko, Rika, and Keiichi from Higurashi.
Keiichi is smirking and covering Rika’s ears. He has a label “Trying not to laugh at the dirty joke”
Satoko is fighting to get free from Rika, who is covering Satoko’s ears.
Satoko is labeled “Wants to hear the dirty joke” and Rika is labeled “Rika”

I'm going from Ace Combat Zero to 7 while waiting for 4 to come. It plays almost the exactly same but with a much more annoying story. I think Zero having storage capacity limits was to its benefit because there's way too much talking in 7.
