After over a year, and despite all the updates and improvements, I can say that my opinion on Dune Awakening is that I wish just about any other developer had made it rather than Funcom. The lore and story were tip top but so much of that game fails the setting mechanically... Lots of dissonance

... Build up within it. It's unlikely due to redundant failsafes but still non-zero chance that if another system failed the "right" way, this unit could start a fire. I haven't seen reports that these have, so failsafes are working but could for sure see it happening when things were in alignment
