In comparison, this is how the Hyrule castle looked like from the Hyrule field in the original game. It barely pokes out, while the remake gives nice elevation changes to make it stand out.

So I watched the Ocarina of Time remake trailer, I like what they've done with the visuals. The characters look a little weird, but the environments look stunning. One neat thing they've done with the maps is with changes in elevation. It really helps to make everything pop better.

So it seems like I'm getting more pronounced rendering artifacts when I render EEVEE scenes on Luna. I've done drivers updates, downgrades, nothing changes. I'll probably have to stop using that card.

So it turns out I do have access to a Maya license, and I can actually render my old Maya sets again. With GPU rendering and Optix denoising, I can now render those old sets that took half an hour minimum in two minutes. That's pretty neat.

Given how she's related to Starlight Glimmer, she has fairly powerful magic, but since she was mostly self-taught as a kid she's years behind in magic training and thus a lot weaker at it than Twilight and Starlight.

There's an AU where she's a kirin and Snow is a bat pony. She was raised like any other unicorns, and besides burning the couch once most of her life happened the same way. Her parents didn't know about kirins so they thought she was just a weird unicorn.
