Hard to say exactly what Marc's referring to, but I suspect it's about some people finding the Singer referred to as "Healthy Warden" in Dungeons II files. This might also apply to ideas like the Sift being "Wellspring" and relating to the Well of Fate.

Usually #Minecraft's teasers clearly point to what's coming. But these two don't. Its only connection to what we know is "cold/snow," but that's very vague. There's literally no other connection to Ice Caves or its features. I'm not sure if there's something to make of this.

NEW THOUGHT: You need a particular sound to open the Sift Portal, and you would go to the source, record it on a disc, and then bring it to the Ancient City for activating the portal. And then like books, maps, banners, etc, Discs would be able to be cloned. #Minecraft

I had missed that this Disc Press table has a slot for dyeing, which does imply that customizing discs would be possible. Imagine if you could encode sounds around you into a disc to replay later. Note Blocks, Ambience, anything! #Minecraft

Good to know. I've got both of those suggestions but haven't yet found the difference betweeb the two. My goal is really just to have a mic that sits in front of my face and can fully capture my voice (instead of my headset, which is very sensitive to slight changes in speaking volume)

My theory is that the Disc Press is for cloning Discs. I'm sure this is what others are thinking too. If Disc 5 is as important as some think for opening the Sift Portal, being able to have extras (in case one gets lost) would be very important!

The point of it "being expensive" is completely separate from what I'm getting at, but also I don't agree that these trims need to be this expensive. Yeah more uses for diamonds, but there's other options for that. 7 diamonds for this feels like a purchase instead of "I need this to make it"

Using 7 diamonds to make this item is arbitrary. "Fill the rest of spaces with diamond" is based in how crafting works, not as much world logic. My point is that it does not make sense that I need 7 diamonds to make this item. How does that even work? Where are 7-worth of diamonds going?

As a creator, it's weird to think one day they'll be packs and mods that change the Sift dimension in vanilla with new structures, biomes, mobs, blocks, shaders, etc. Like a whole new category. When every other dimension was added, this just wasn't a thing. #Minecraft
