I am most excited about naparym-live! Our preprocessing (Decon-DSR) is down to a ridiculous 0.2 seconds for a volume. The time from last plane acquired on OPM to rendered in 3D (a 1000 mile round trip to our server where it is also archived) is now on average 0.8 seconds?! #realtimemicroscopy

Hey, do you have a ton of data just sitting around and not have a good way to triage whether it is worth anything... well we did. Enter the all new opym-dashboard. Autoplays MIPs and has easy buttons to triage the data based on visual quality. You can also open the 3D time series in a builtin viewer

My favorite way to code. Got our preprocessing and visualization down to 2 seconds after the last slice of that volume has been acquired. We started the session at 30s. The slow part now is the viz. The ssh transfer, Decon and DSR take 0.6 seconds?!

Look at these absolute beauties 😍 we performed NHS-Ester dye labeling of membrane proteins in 2 minutes using the #PEACHPULP It also washes cells in the next step to go from start to end in less than 5 minutes! For reference this typically is done for 1hr followed by 3x 5 min spins.

The change to 25 mm coverslips from 5mm is just too much to handle. Love that they are so big, but hate that they are so big. Now, we can have the best of both worlds with these autoclavable PC cell plating inserts tm, patent pending (lulz). We can add 50k cells rather than 1 million per well 🤩

Getting our PDMS out of the mold used to be such a hassle. Not anymore! Just pull the walls out and it’s free. Bonus: we printed a cap to line up the biopsy punch which makes hole prep an absolute breeze.
