UBU Bold, messy, human. Drips move. Dots shimmer like stars—each one placed with care. This piece pulses with Pride: unpolished, untamed, unapologetic. A beautiful rebellion. #AssemblageArt #UBU #PrideArt #mindygriffith

Most women don’t have the “classic” heart attack signs. It might feel like indigestion, jaw pain, fatigue, or pressure—not pain. Know the signs. Trust your gut. Call 911. Better a false alarm than a fatal delay. Share this—someone you love might need it.

do you enjoy knowing that when you deposit money in a US bank, you won't lose that money? nice, right? it's because bank deposits are insured by FDIC. i don't know what FDIC ever did to these people, but apparently it too is now on their blow-it-up list: www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Banking regulator rescinds more than 200 job offers for examiners it needs

A government-wide hiring freeze is adding to a staffing shortage at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., complicating the agency’s efforts to oversee thousands of banks across the country.

That would be one complicated sandwich consumption bordering on a performance piece.

Is that half of the sandwich, or do you remove one slice of bread and then consume the rest as if it were an openface sandwich?

In the last 24 hours, I've been angry and scared, but I've found some comfort from Mel Brooks talking about dealing with Nazi's. They want us scared, they want us to take them seriously. They hate when we laugh at how ridiculous they are. We need to fight hard and make fun of them as we do.

I should be surprised that this take isn't a major headline in every paper and every cable news channel. But that would require those publishers to be honest brokers of the truth and not propaganda engines for their billionaire owners who will, no doubt, be shoving cash into shitler's pockets.

A wave from deep space. These red blobs are early-Universe prequel to huge galaxy clusters, found by Webb thanks to its powerful sensitivity. Since the distant is so great, we see them as they were only 650 million years after the big bang. 🔭 🧪

This image from the James Webb Space Telescope shows a cluster of galaxies, including seven galaxies (highlighted with boxes) that have been confirmed to be among the earliest galaxies in the universe. These galaxies existed just 650 million years after the Big Bang and are part of a developing cluster. The image uses gravitational lensing to magnify distant galaxies, allowing Webb to observe them in detail. Webb's Near-Infrared Spectrograph (NIRSpec) instrument was used to precisely measure the distances of these galaxies and determine their redshift, which is a measure of how much the light from these galaxies has been stretched due to the expansion of the universe.

RS Puppis. At a distance of 6,000 light-years, the Cepheid variable star was observed by Hubble and is one of the biggest and brightest known Cepheids in the Milky Way galaxy. Processed by @thocarp.bsky.social www.flickr.com/photos/19746... 🔭 🧪

A stunning image from the Hubble Space Telescope showcasing RS Puppis, a luminous blue variable star surrounded by a vast, intricate nebula. The nebula displays a complex interplay of colors and textures, with wisps of gas and dust illuminated by the star's intense radiation.
