I knew staffing cons wouldn't last forever, I fantasized about the next me showing how competent they are and handing them the reins, vs reality of 'you're taking your job too seriously and we don't like that, just be happy you're part of something'. I hate how bitter all of this has made me.

If you ask for a clear chain of command, and the response contains 'in my opinion' THAT IS NOT THE CHAIN OF COMMAND. I'm glad I have multiple smaller events before this so I can not just stare at December until my eyes crust over.

If the event fails, it likely takes down another event you've been part of for over a decade. You cannot get others to acknowledge why you are stressed and that their not-fucking-up is integral to something surviving that makes you happy. The DATE of the EVENT on the SITE is MISLEADING.

You are told the best way to get a response is to email, yet there is no viewable list of staff emails. You may be the only person keeping a spreadsheet for your department. The event has been delayed once, you're waiting on the okay to order inventory. The event is two months away.

A situation to make your brain scream: you're part of an event where the only way to actively talk to other staff is Discord, there are staff channels, everyone uses them, but when you ask why you don't get responses, you repeatedly hear 'oh I don't really use Discord'.

Since I keep restarting Mistria a la my Stardew runs, recent realizations - any hoe use gives farming XP, need to stop wasting shovel use and just hoe one spot - fully zoomed out lets you see A LOT, esp if you're farming dive spots - my brain is not normal
