Do businesses not know all their AI posters look the same or..?

So! I finally spotted a Pokemon TCG 30th anniversary booster in the wild! — —For 34.95$C (+txs) (To be fair, it was in a retailer's (Relikks?) card vending machine. But at this point I'm honestly expecting to never get a chance to get a booster pack. Hope the scalpers are happy 😂)

I decided to dash downstairs and get an iced coffee because now I'm feeling the crash(?) from the stress of rushing and dealing with the train delay this morning. It's 10:30 and I'm seeing people coming in, including coworkers sfgsjkaka

I'm going to guess that there was a lightning strike that hit on one end of the line but ooooof. It's so bad with the line going down. I think I got to the platform at 8:40 then waited and waited. There was nothing on the site, no alerts or announcements or anything until 8:58 or something

Today would've been the sixty-fifth birthday of Yu-Gi-Oh! creator Kazuki Takahashi. It tends to get swallowed up in the enormous franchise it became, but I truly believe that his original manga can provide a valuable lesson to artists about process and work and improvement over time.

Lol oh wait so I should be concerned that the PQ is back (I was already concerned, but my aunt pointed out that QS will probably prop up this gov't and their goal to hold a referendum. At great cost)

Anyways. Not great, but could've been horrifyingly worse.

000

milou @miloucomehome.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I'm fact, I worry we'll end up in another situation but one where the PQ *not* waving the Canadian flag will stick out even more if Trump tries more sabre rattling at us. (And there was the reveal of the cancelled meeting with a US congressman and the separatist leader during these elections)

000

milou @miloucomehome.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Anyways with the situation with the US and Canada, I don't see how the PQ is going to make itself look good by spouting off about leaving Canada when the US will just annex us in a flash. No amount of "Maîtres chez nous!" would convince Trump's goons to go nice and easy on us.

Lmao though. CAQ being run out of the legislature with zero after being in power for 10 years is something. Complete fall from grace(?)

milou @miloucomehome.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Nice. Amazing. If separatists still try to force an election it'd tank the province and they'd still lose, thankfully (Someone is trying to recruit youth to the movement though by making "cool" vintage stickers from old separatist posters in the past 😅. It's so weird)

oh god. Possibly a bullet dodged. But PSPP and his goons are disrespecting the party Lévesque made and I'm the furthest from being a separatist and just seeing the party warp itself into this right wing party is just....tragic. Yeesh. (They were genuinely left wing and very socialist)

Ok. U/S suspected interference during our elections (kind of— separatist leader claimed no meeting was scheduled; someone discovered a message that a mtg was cancelled with a big name in the U/S govt), another province's as well..../sigh
