To cap off his first 100 days in office, Mayor Zohran Mamdani walked the full 6 miles home from New York City Hall last night — greeting New Yorkers along the way. 🍎

Given recent developments let’s make that summer 2027 haha

2/2 I wish the review focused a bit more on political dynamics of dying empires (Terra Sol) and the dichotomy of freedom seeking frontier versus power seeking individuals misusing the colonial needs towards personal goals. A lot of early Roman and Byzantine history served as inspiration. Tnx again!

1/2 Thanks for the review, James, and for the opportunity to compete in this year’s SPSFC! 🙏 I agree with most of your criticisms, while naturally I am not entirely aligned with a few. Primarily I agree with the editing part - I will need to brush up on this for my next installment.

Like any reasonable author, I have now done the most unreasonable thing imaginable - instead of working on a sequel to a my debut novel that was well received, well reviewed, and sells to this day fairly well - I have started writing a completely new one. Fun! Oh to be my beta readers 🤗 #booksky

Book 2 of the Jack Kessler Chronicles is well under way! Chapter I is already done, and if all goes to plan (and it never does!) the book should be ready by Summer 2026! #booksky #indieauthors

I had no idea. I half-assed the application, and actually hesitated to pay what is a pretty hefty fee to be a part of the promo. In the end I bit the bullet thinking that it might pay off. Yesterday I did a bit of digging around and some research quickly realizing how big of a deal this is! 😀

One of the craziest things that happened to me lately is that I casually applied for the BookBub Featured Deal thingamajing, not really realizing how selective they were. Well, it turns out that Osiris Rising has passed that selection, and will be featured on October 26th! #booksky #selfpublish

I just finished Le Guin’s The Dispossessed in two days. A remarkable feat of writing, the book transported me into its world like no other before it. If the book is good there is no chaos in the world that would stop it from sucking you in! After all, literature’s entire purpose is precisely that.

I genuinely don't know what to think anymore - even some of the comments I am getting on my own posts are so formulaic that there is no way a real human person has written them. And I have like 50 followers in total! Why would anyone care to go to such lengths. Alas, I digress... Yes, many bots.
