Mum’s off-theme read this month, was “Helle & Death” by Oskar Jensen. Sadly she didn’t enjoy it at all despite the setting being full of promise for an Agatha Christie type of parody. Mum found the plot weak & didn’t like the characters. A disappointing twist too #CatChatBookClub

Mum’s tenuous link to the #CatChatBookClub theme is “Diary of a Somebody” by Brian Bilston. Written in diary form, some of the action was in Autumn 😹 🍂 Mum first read it in 2022 & has longed to reread it since as she enjoyed it so much. Her notes from now & then are attached.
