I survived my trip, but barely. I had some medical problems that kind of ruined part of it, but the Iron Maiden concert was great! 🤘🏼 I'm so far behind on BBSky, I don't even know what to do about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I literally feel like this meme.

Finishing up The Things We Never Say by Elizabeth Strout. Excellent, definitely better than the last one of hers I read. I think it's really relatable, written well, interesting, but I also think there's no way this wins the Booker Prize. It's just not giving me a winner vibe. 📚💙

I'm getting more annoyed with audiobooks. Male narrators who do terrible women's voices, narrators who talk loud at the beginning of a sentence and whisper at the end so you don't know what volume to use (Wil Wheaton is unlistenable for this reason), over the top southern accents.

My cat could be more spoiled if she wanted it. I do stuff like move into the bedroom to watch more episodes of TV so that I can sit on the bed with her (she rarely sits on the sofa with me). Then she leaves after 30 minutes to go sit on the floor in a dark empty room. So she hates me.

Men & their learned helplessness. My brother asked me to find a hotel for our stay in San Antonio. So I found it, it's walking distance where we need to go, free parking, nice, good reviews. Sent him the link. He booked the one w bad reviews, expensive parking fees, further from where we're going. 😭

The 1mg melatonin for adults is twice as expensive as the ones for kids, so I got the kids gummies. I took 2 of them and had crazy ass dreams all night! I was taking a 3mg melt before, but these must be more effective. Poor little kids having trippy dreams all night!
