I scored a basketball! Also, I reached the #PEAK. I am very proud of this accomplishment. A great many thanks are owed to @lumkitty.uk, who guided me through this experience.
In the airport lobby from the videogame PEAK, a basketball has just gone through a hoop. There is confetti. An image from the videogame PEAK, showing a successful scouting report with 2 players. The clear time is 1 hour and 32 minutes, and the poster gained 11 achievements, including the one for reaching the peak.

There's a new release of OnAirTap. I've fixed a minor VRAM leak, added an in-game settings page for Beat Saber, and imported some communication improvements from VapourTap. I've also re-worked the wiki, so set-up should be a bit easier. github.com/milkydelta/O... #VTuberTech #MixedReality

Shrinking the array isn't automatic for the same reason. If you hit a large size once, even if the elements are then removed, you might need that capacity later. Keeping it around avoids at least 2 reallocations. It's a trade-off. You have increased memory usage to avoid increased CPU usage.
000
milkydelta @milkydelta.moe · 13/09/2026
It functions correctly, just not quite intuitively. If the internal array is too small, it grows. Growing or shrinking that array means allocating a new one and copying elements over. That's an expensive operation, so the queue doubles the capacity, to make sure it isn't too frequent.

milkydelta @milkydelta.moe · 13/09/2026
The Queue class is implemented as a circular array, according to MS docs.

I've just released that mod I was making for The Lab. I'm calling it VapourTap, and it's like OnAirTap, but for games using the SteamVR Unity Plugin, so you can externally composite your VTuber into the game. My testing ability is a bit limited, so I would appreciate some feedback. #VTuberTech

I made a WebSocket mod for PEAK. You can do some cool stuff with it. Here, I'm using a small python script to call triggers in #VNyan. #peakgame #peakmod

If russ has worked on the main site, there's almost certainly some claude use there. I quickly went through some of his account's repos, and there's many claude commits, as far back as march. A short look through the other two contributors seemed clean, though they have less public history to see.

milkydelta @milkydelta.moe · 19/08/2026
To give the benefit of doubt, having 2 semi-recent claude commits on a static documentation site does not mean that the main site itself is necessarily vibe-coded. The other instances are bot examples for python, swift, and go. It seems to be limited just to commits made by "russ".

After successful extended testing, RC1 is now officially VRnyan 2.1 and works with OnAirTap 1.1 which brings many new features, including the ability to disable transparent walls in Beat Saber by changing the layer masks so that walls look the same on stream as they do in-game! #VNyan #VTuberTech

Just put out a pre-release version of OnAirTap v1.1 The two main additions are - An OWML port (for NomaiVR's LIV addon) - A MelonLoader port It would be very helpful if some people could test it and send feedback, as I am not currently able to fully test those features. github.com/milkydelta/O...

OnAirTap is a mod for games that use the LIV Unity SDK. It enables the use of their mixed reality camera, without any need for the main LIV application. The output of that camera is given to you via Spout2 texture sharing, and it's location is controlled by the LIVnyan plugin for #VNyan.

A few years ago, the decision would have been easy. Now, I have to consider whether I'm ok with a group of sociopathic salesmen using my project to improve the magic boxes they're using to destroy social cohesion, evaporate the job market I haven't entered, and exacerbate idiocy across the world.

Over the last two months, I've been doing some programming projects. I'm really proud of what I've made, and it's honestly been one of the main highlights of the year so far. Having a thing to do feels good. I want to make them open-source, so they're still around if I get hit by a bus on Friday.

I should add: This is a very poor connection. In-home, and on most sensible networks, they both perform brilliantly. I actually like using sunshine because it shows the full desktop instead of just the active game.
000
milkydelta @milkydelta.moe · 08/05/2026
In my experience, Steam Link has been much better than Sunshine. I regularly have to remote into my home PC over a very unreliable network. Using the moonlight client, I can barely manage 480p at 15 FPS. Over that same connection, Steam Link is able to do 720p at 60 FPS
