Have you considered how coming out became extremely dangerous again??? Also, painting coming out and exploration of one’s own sexuality for youth as a fad encourages them to hide it from you, too. Sexuality and sexual identity are things that take time to explore and solidify. If it becomes

home depot definitely feels like one of those weird places where reality and time shift and warp in an indescribable but distinctive way. It’s not a liminal space but the structure and sameness feeling of so many aisles makes it so.

In the '80s, some of the world's most fascinating animation was made in Uzbekistan. It was a time of "absolute creative freedom with full funding." We're looking at the story behind the scene, and at the gems it produced: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/visions-in...

The anemic, feeble mind of the AI glazer seeks achievement without the development of skill or wisdom. Their lack of self-cultivation means they will never ascend the celestial hierarchy. More importantly, however, they will never be a shonen protagonist or be similar to Goku in any way.

I hear the defeat in their voice as they admit they just had AI generate it. Their realization as they have their AI buddy “redo/edit” the same file that the quality of the output just gets sloppier and sloppier with each iteration. it’s not me being sadistic or mean. I need AI gone. it’s robbing

Galea @milkfiend.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Yeah, I want you to feel the pain of not actually knowing what you’re doing, when you parade in like an “expert” and start telling me I’m doing my job wrong. You don’t know jack shit about design and you wanna tell me I can “just fix the file/print it right.”

130

Galea @milkfiend.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

What? It only lets you export as a jpeg? You can’t move the word elements that are getting cut off closer to the center? Didn’t you design this? If you go up to the corner most software has a File option letting you adjust the CANVAS size. Your software doesn’t? Wild, how old is it?

130

Galea @milkfiend.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Ah, if you open it in the creative program you designed it in, there should be a way to export with higher dpi. Oh hey, there should be a way to export it from your ART SOFTWARE as a .tif or .pdf.

Galea @milkfiend.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

whenever a customer submits a shitty gen ai file for printing and it comes out shitty and blurry or skewed or cut off bc they didn’t bother w bleed lines I love to remind them they did not actually create any file nor start with any expertise by asking them things like

Pokemon Su/Mo - There was something offputting about the entire vibe of the game for me, I couldn’t get invested into the story or region. Doesn’t help that the camera design made me motion sick. Meanwhile somehow I was ok w the camera in Scar/Vio, and I loved the story to bits… especially the DLC💞

look at these maps! they’re also full of characters! history and events! I’ve spent hours scouring the wiki, which has done a good job of archiving and connecting plot events to names and the timeline. I’d even settle for a new storyline within this world with new characters. It’s that immersive…

i hope sometime in my lifetime, ai no kusabi gets its overdue reboot… I feel like a visual novel type computer game with tons of things to collect and read about in your inventory would be a fun way to do it, too… because there is SO DAMN MUCH lore and characters and history packed into it.
