iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

With all the hate Sony is getting for stopping physical, and the love Xbox is getting for Disk to Digital, it's weird that more than once, new releases have been physical on PS, and digital only on Xbox. (in AU anyway) (eg. Ace Combat 8, Pragmata)

The dioramas are cool, but Lego really peaked with the NES Replica imo.

"Celeste" and "Crypt of the Necrodancer" are among my favourite game soundtracks. Celeste remix in the style of Necrodancer. Great interpretation of the song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTiK...

With heavily declining sales of Xbox hardware AND the massive recent price jump, the fact that these are selling out is really surprising. ...Or Australia just got very few units.

So, if Helix doesn't have a disc drive. I can see shops like CEX charging to let you use their previous gen console to digitise a disc.

Never played the original FF7 before (only did 13). Is this a Remake thing, or did the OG also sometimes wonder into "Yakuza/RGG territory"? #FinalFantasyVIIRemake

We want to entertain a billion people a day. There should be an Xbox in every house. We want to replace schools with Minecraft. Master Chief should visit my house and give me a little kiss on the nose.

Mixtape was.. good. I enjoyed it. The universal 10/10's are surprising. I've watched those movies, I grew up in that era, i listened to the music (from that period, so not the whole mixtape). It was very relatable, but also, not? It didn't hit the way it could have. It missed something.

That Game Pass increase hurt like hell.

milez away 🇿🇦🇦🇺 @milez-away.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

Curious to see how many people left from the price jump. And how many will now come back now that it's been restored. As a massive fan of Game Pass, even I left after the increase, and may not come back now that i've been without it for 6 months, and didn't really miss it.

Xbox Partner Preview First time I'm watching as a non-Game Pass subscriber. Heaps of titles I didn't expect to be are coming to Game Pass. Great to see they're reminding us of the value. But it's so downplayed. A little badge. Easy to miss if you're not paying attention. #Xbox

It’s taken me an hour on the phone to buy AppleCare for a MacBook. Why? Because I committed the cardinal sin of buying it from a little retailer (Amazon) instead of the Apple Store. You have to call them to upload a receipt on your behalf and this takes an hour.
