Miles Davitt @milesdavitt.net · 01/09/2026I watched both these movies in the last couple days and really enjoyed them both. The cel shading in "Coyote vs. Acme" wasn't my cup of tea, but the quality of the writing more than made up for it. It's very funny! 040

Miles Davitt @milesdavitt.net · 08/08/2026Just had the pleasure of seeing a group of large and very strong men and women tossing heavy objects #highlandgames 070
Miles Davitt @milesdavitt.net · 07/08/2026I didn't see it myself, but I began the comment I made with "As an animator and as someone who's involved in the furry scene...", and apparently this other person's head swung right around hahaha 160
Miles Davitt @milesdavitt.net · 07/08/2026Also extremely funny to have someone bring up in an over-intellectualised way "the furry fetish" in relationship to the film and try to say that Furry is some attempt at a return to a "pre-cultural state". The word "rupture" was used multiple times. 150
Miles Davitt @milesdavitt.net · 07/08/2026There was a panel discussion afterwards, and there were some really interesting points raised by audience members about the role of language and music in the film, and about the queer migrant experience. 140

Miles Davitt @milesdavitt.net · 27/07/2026The thing that's most likely to get an organisation's attention, I reckon, is the fact that it looks like shit and conveys the message that they're either too cheap or they don't care enough about their business or product to either make the imagery themselves or hire someone to do it for them. 041
