It was very unnerving for young me, and I very specifically recall the girl holding onto a teddy bear while behind some dangerous debris, and the robot reached its arm through to grab the teddy bear (I think to take it away from her?)

I don't know what it was and I don't know if I'll ever find out. I was very young and my parents had something on the TV I oversaw. It was some show that started as a cartoon with a girl and her dad, but the dad suddenly became a robot, the artstyle turned 3d, and the girl was running from her dad?

Saw Coyote vs ACME today! Honestly a cool movie. I'm picky about movies but it was fun, lots of great gags. The mix of animation styles (2d and live action) really add charm. Super glad it wasn't destroyed for a tax write-off.

Letting women be themselves is one of the best ways I can think of to prevent others from becoming like I was. Once I realized that women could be just as weird and zany as men, I could let go of my misconceptions.

Growing up in a puritanical culture and having only male friends for most of my life caused great damage to my worldview on sexuality. The me from 8-10 years ago would probably agree with censoring women's bodies to "protect them". The bright side is that I've grown and don't agree with that now.
