I’m so sorry to hear that, really hope they recover fully (and soon!💛) It really is horrible. I was badly affected by it during the first wave, still have lasting effects. I really feel for those who’d never gone through such life-changing health issues before—so scary & devastating to lose so much.

Ponzu says “high five!” 🥰 I say, “life is intense at the moment, so I’m likely going to be quiet for about a month” 😅 Just wanted to wish you all a lovely few weeks & let you know photos of Ponzu should resume late October ☺️🩷 Take care of yourselves & your loved ones (humans & animals alike 🥰🫶🐾)

Haunting, but also very beautiful. You do have a special talent—that ability to paint a scene and evoke a series of feelings with so few words that do so much. It’s lovely to read. Very much hope your submissions go well. Getting published is hard, but you deserve it! Cheering you on from here :)

Thanks back at you 😊 That sounds like a good balance—glad you’ll still be posting some of your writing here :) Looking forward to your next post! For the pieces you’re submitting, I’ll be patient and hope to read them in print (or at least digital magazine copy ☺️).

Covid’s long-term impact on brain: Studies have shown “brain changes even after mild infection, including cortical thinning, white matter alterations, and accelerated brain aging associated with cognitive decline…[etc]” This study adds evidence—Cerebral Blood Flow is reduced in Long Covid patients.

Intending to write another column about the treatment of #ME/CFS patients this week, pegged to new research findings on the biological basis. My question for sufferers: Are any of you still being offered inappropriate (psych/GET etc) "treatments"? Please email george at monbiot dot info. Thanks.

That sounds like a good way to look at it and a good plan too! It seems so many people spend the early acts of their lives worrying too much about what others think (western culture pretty much demands it of us, doesn’t it? 🙃) Good job aiming to concentrate more on living and enjoying your life! 😊🫶✨

With my art, I often plan in advance, but this one ended up being spontaneous. I started with the large tree, then thought, a subject would enhance the piece, and it continued from there! The original is up for sale on Ebay! Link in the comments. #art #fantasyart #traditionalart #natureart #deer
