Something has to change tonight. Either we go flat out for the win and score a few even if its not enough Or more likely We try to play out a draw, best defenders in the back four and two sitting midfield in front. Aim to score on the break. Same old tactics a huge risk imo. Hope we attack!!!!

I would make significant changes tonight but I don't expect that to happen. My guess is much the same as Saturday but with no Mainoo or Shaw. Baleba and Dalot start instead.

Balebs looked better than I expected. I would start him on tuesday with mainoo. Given Shaw probably won't start i have no idea what our defence will look like. Almost worth considering a 3 5 2 but I don't expect any tactical changes at all.

Its been a poor start to the season, no-one can doubt that. Over the last few years I have got used to that, just like in the 70s. What depresses me is the lack of excitement and entertainment this team produces. They are boring and that is unforgivable.

I have been a United fan and football fanatic since 1970. If City get away with their financial shenanigans I think I am done with football. I don't understand why the specific source of the extra money for City's sponsorship deals is relevant. Its clear that the company getting the advertising benefit paid a small percentage and another source topped up the payment to way over market value. Its clearly a mechanism to subvert rules.

There is a concerted attempt to reframe the Thatcher years as some kind of idyll rather than the destructive divisive get rich quick for some and to hell with the rest and beggar the consequences era those of us who lived through it remember. The present state of this country is largely her doing.

Big clubs with large fan bases have always been financially dominant but that has not always led to dominance on the pitch. What City did is not a Robin Hood act challenging injustice it was plain selfish cheating.

Maybe City should be stripped of their titles and then fined the amount of money they fraudulently siphoned into the club meaning that their finances wouldn't allow significant transfer spending for a few years. There finances should be open to scrutiny for a few years too.

No matter how hard i try i can't get my head around the level of corruption of which City have been found guilty. I also can't imagine how severe any punishment should be. Surely some of their actions are also criminal. The files should be handed over to HMRC and the police.

Privatisation under Thatcher has led directly to the mess this coutry is in now. I cannot think of a single example where privatisation has led to anything other than a much poorer, much more expensive service. If you disagree name one.

I don't want City's corruptly won trophies re-awarded. It would be meaningless. But they should be stripped from City. And if Burnley can sue Everton pretty much everyone can sue City. Could put them out of business, they deserve it, but i don't want that either. I'd miss Derby days!!!

If you are found guilty the offences are no longer allegations. ITV news please note. Hard to understand how any appeal can reverse 113 guilty verdicts unless its on a legal technicality as it was when Uefa fell foul of a statute of limitations when trying to sanction City.

I am not a lawyer but I did watch Rumpole of the Bailey in my youth so I think i can state with some authority that City will need grounds for appeal. It can't just be we don't agree, or its not fair you don't like us. In which case an appeal can be dealt with relatively quickly.
