I would like to draw your attention to the post I scrolled past, on my feed, at 9:21 pm today; the Twenty-first of September.

A screenshot of a Alonso Duralde post that reads “It’s been five years, but I still miss these. @electrolemon.bsky.social”. That is followed with a link to Demi Adejuyigbe’s music video titled “9/21/21”.

Here's a screenshot

This is a screenshot of a ticket discount for Canadians on the Disney World website.

It says Walt Disney World
Save with Special Offers, followed by a picture of A boy holding a Mickey Mouse ear hat over his face in front of the Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway entrance, followed by this marketing copy:
Canada Residents: Get 4-Day Tickets for as Low as US$109/Day, Plus Tax
Get a 4-day theme park ticket from US$109 per day plus tax (total price from US$436 plus tax)—valid for select ticket start dates.

And the fascists are already expanding. It came out yesterday the US is also sending migrants to Panama, where a literal jungle camp is the end destination.

"The deportees at the hotel will soon be sent to a camp at the edge of a jungle called the Darién Gap, according to Panama's president, José Raúl Mulino. Built just a few years ago to house migrants headed north to the United States, the camp will now handle a reverse migration wave. It is unclear how long the migrants will be held there. In the past, the camp, called San Vicente, consisted of just a few shacks in a muddy expanse, and officials often kept migrants penned inside. Dengue fever is a common danger in the region."

What's really funny about that article is it's, all but, said how much disdain Barbara Broccoli has for Bezos. It also includes this killer quote about Musk.

A quote screenshot, from an article about the future of James Bond, that reads, "In a world where the 1% have more power than ever, some have suggested, a stateless billionaire autocrat might seem the obvious choice for a Bond bad guy.
Broccoli's response to such suggestions: Been there, done that. Recent villains include a wealthy banker to terrorist groups who weeps blood out of one eye ("Casino Royale," 2006); a wealthy oil heiress ("The World Is Not Enough," 1999); and a wealthy tycoon whose global media empire includes a satellite network ("Tomorrow Never Dies," 1997). That last one has come up more recently when she is offered inspiration from the real world.
"Elon Musk?" she said to one friend. "I did that back in 1997.'""

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #734,287! Oh... cool.

A graphic announcing mc-raney42 was the 734,287 user who signed up on bluesky. The bluesky butterfly is in the upper lefthand corner. The graphic reads "Celebrating 10M users #734,287" There is text that looks like a stamp that says "First 10%" surrounded by a circle of text that reads "Certified Bluesky Elder". In the bottom right-hand corner reads "Joined Aug 25, 2023".
