Out today selling Cub scout popcorn with my son. I'm frankly surprised at the number of people who feel free to stop and let us know it was better before there were girls in. My kid's best friend in his den is a girl. Half the older scouts are, and they're all pretty awesome. It's so good with both!

I read with my 11 and 9 year old still. My wife and I alternate nights with each. Similarly we each do a separate book, often maybe just a bit above grade level. I'm working through Tiffany Aching with the elder. It's still fun and we get to talk about them too.

So sad to hear about Yayoi Kusama. For spring break last year we saw one of her infinity rooms at Crystal Bridges in Arkansas and my daughter loved it, as did I. There is something so neat about the immersive experience.

Went to the Russell Stover outlet in Corsicana and bought a 3 lb box of "bloopers". Basically irregular chocolates not suitable for their standard boxes. I was not prepared for the just box full of random mutant chocolates, but I am delighted by it.

A white box full of unsorted chocolates. Fine are a bit crushed or are weird doubles. But it's just an unconscionable quantity of irregular chocolates.
