Holy Shit! Padriac McKinley's THE WEIGHT is fucking awesome! It opens 9/18, stars Ethan Hawke & Russell Crowe. Take Bonnie & Clyde, Cool Hand Luke, and Deliverance and fit it onto a remake of The Wages of Fear *without the trucks*, you'd have this gritty, sweaty, testosterone-laced movie. Loved it!

Linda Bean Pardee of The Chelsea Curve has passed. She was the coolest bass player in Boston and had ungodly charisma and talent. I saw The Chelsea Curve many times and met and talked with her a few times. She embodied so much that was awesome about the Boston music scene. I hate that she’s gone.

Caught a Twilight Zone with Ida Lupino & a Columbo with Anne Baxter. In both shows, these women played, fading, dried up shells of their former selves. Lupino & Baxter were only around 40 & gorgeous when these shows were filmed. Agism in Hollywood has always been bad. But back then, it was brutal.
