Looking at details in Man City verdict, other cases and leaked emails, it’s astonishing how brazen and straightforward this scheme was without anyone at the PL noticing. It took a computer hack and then leaks to bring it out into open. The oversight clearly couldn’t discover such an obvious scheme.

Regarding Etihad. Two points to raise. 1) They cannot sue the Premier League for the findings of an independent legal panel 2) If the sponsorship deals were legit, why would #ManCity not call on their principal sponsor to give witness testimony during the hearing? That speaks volumes #MCFC

Here's what #ManCity expect us to believe. All Abu Dhabi (AD) sponsorships were paid by the companies in full. They needed financial assistance from the UAE govt (City's owners) to pay these sponsorships. So the sponsors were effectively sponsored. This is well over 80% of City's sponsorships #MCFC

Something in the PL's statement which people are missing is very significant. They have classified the inflated sponsorships as non declared associated party transactions. This means the PL considers Man City to be state owned, and thus their ownership of the club to be illegitimate!! #ManCity

Yep. The one charge they got off was for non cooperation. There were several City sites and prominent social media accounts trying to con us into thinking that City got off "the main charge" which covered all of the financial accusations. Big nope on that one (not that there was a 'main charge').
