I experienced something similar years ago, so I share your outrage. When my son was ~3 years old, too shy to talk to strangers, a woman claimed he told her a bruise came from me hitting him. But at least I got to hire a lawyer 1st, and schedule the CPS visit to my home. Cost me some $$$ for that.
