I’m not the only person that’s had the thought, but it hit me a few hours into Resonant, this game is about COVID. And specifically kids that few up during lockdown. Imagine being locked in a room in 2019 and then emerging into whatever our world is in 2026. No wonder Dylan is weird.

Tried to take some dramatic shots of Logan and Jean dancing, but as I moved the camera around the game decided to remove Jean. It felt thematically appropriate.

Deadly Premonition kinda rules? I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I have been. What an odd game, and not just because of the Twin Peaks references. So much of it seems to be optional, but side quests also unlock key mechanics and character moments.

There's something unsettling about walking through a completely silent Enterprise. Like some kind of liminal space, backrooms thing. With creepy, repeated crew members wandering around. At one point I just fell through the floor into space and that was...upsetting.

Checked out Stage 9, the TNG fan project that got shut down by the corpos. It's janky but very cool. Our little one's first intro to Star Trek, she thought it was hilarious that the captain wouldn't drink his tea despite all my efforts.

Got a copy of Furiosa: Black & Chrome shipped in from down under and boy is it gorgeous. I liked it even more this time, what a film. Starting to think the B&C version of this and Fury Road are the definitive ones.
