I was very fortunate to join @ntfc.bsky.social this weekend for the NTFC Community Trust weekend. As well as meeting some brilliant volunteers and organisations that work with the trust, I got to plant a tree as part of the club's new greening project and spend some time with trustees.

Today I helped get the ban on puppy and kitten smuggling through Parliament. I was proud to speak up in support of it, closing loopholes which have allowed criminal gangs to flout our border and animals protection rules.

It was an absolute honour to join the Royal British Legion, the Sywell 1st Air The Scouts brigade and members of the community to commemorate Armed Forces Day. A very moving service, with the 149 names of people who have died in service since the second world war read out.
