huh so Google is kicking off the new year by pissing off knitters that’s fun
A Google doodle logo where the o’s in Google are replaced by a bad AI rendition of some non-anatomically correct bright pink knitting. The two needles look like a weird broken screw, there aren’t enough stitches, and it’s all very ugly and low effort. There’s a link: “Make a plan for 2026 resolutions with Al Mode”

One of the most upsetting articles I've read in a long time www.theargumentmag.com/p/when-grade... UCSD report senate.ucsd.edu/media/740347... We are failing a generation of kids.

This is an absolute disaster. If we don't stop this, they will turn NSF into a pawn of the Trump administration. There will be no research on climate, biodiversity, or anything that isn't eugenics or AI or how to more efficiently destroy the planet for profit. This cannot be allowed to happen.

Millie's getting bullied by both of her brothers. Fermi kept batting at her and she ran here while hissing at him. Then Minki started doing the same while Fermi blocked her exit.
