Astronomy chinese ink illustrations.

Earth's orbit around the Sun. Special points on the orbit are remarked: the apsides (perihelion and aphelion), the solstices (summer and winter) and the equinoxes (spring and autumn).

Horizontal coordinates in astronomy. Above the observer, there is the zenith. The angle between the projection of the star in the horizon and the South is called the azimuth. The vertical angle between the horizon and the star is the altitude.

Thanks! I'm Miguel, an artist from Spain. Even though I studied Math and Physics, art is my passion and I have been actively painting since 2011. I use to make oil paintings of scenes inspired by Japan, but sometimes I paint other things, such as watercolor, chinese ink or pencil illustrations 😊

it genuinely pisses me off how hard it is for people in society to embrace the creative endeavours they dream of. for the first time in my life i’m not living paycheck to paycheck and for the first time i feel as though i can be creative. imagine the art we’d have if didn’t live in capitalism
