A neat little proof I found on YouTube. Proof that 1 + 1 = 2. a + 0 = a S(0) = 1, S(S(0)) = 2, S(S(S(0))) = 3, …. a + S(b) = S(a + b) 1 + 1 = S(0) + S(0) = S(S(0) + 0) = S(S(0)) = 2 1 + 1 = 2. I don’t know why I like this so much. A simple thing made complicated. Maybe that’s why.

The more you try to learn from pain, the more you’ll see pain as a friend rather than an enemy. When all you do is complain about suffering, all you’ll experience is suffering. Don’t become consumed by anger and resentment as a result, but use it for wisdom and growth. For forgiveness and mercy.
