After listening to episodes from both outlets this week, I think I have more of a sense of what you were referring to. SV hasn't really changed *how* they've referred to gambling or brought it up more, but the entire ecosystem around it has changed so it feels different now

I saw some of the commentary on this last night. I never really got the sense she was complaining about the journalists, she was complaining about the ethics of the company that employs them. Fair! I think they have had a couple of specific shows once in a blue moon that were pitched as gambling focused and I just skipped those entirely so I definitely get it. I think the 2 shows are good companions to each other in the world of independent CFB media.

We have been here long enough that Scottsdale WAS actually separated from Phoenix/Tempe and have seen the city explode. When I was a kid McCormick Ranch was more or less the northern side of town and I didn't know anyone living north of Thunderbird until junior high 😂

I am torn on this. Axon is designing it's own rules, but Scottsdale is so committed to preventing any sort of housing to be built other than single family homes that I'm sympathetic to whatever gets something built.
