Tonight’s dinner: Bocce Balls à la Pizzeria Venti. I guess this place was a chain. I used to get them in Atlanta before they closed there. These are basically big meatballs and cheese wrapped in pizza dough and they are great. Recipe in alt.

BOCCE BALLS – Pizzeria Venti copycat
Makes 6 big ones · about 1¾ hours
Inspired by Elle Jay at Home

MEATBALLS – riff on Brian Lagerstrom
- 800 g Wagyu mince
- 125 g sour cream
- 125 g heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 150 g white bread, cubed
- 15 g parsley, chopped
- 15 g garlic, minced
- 18 g salt
- 3 g black pepper
- 15 g lemon juice
- Pinch chile flakes

SAUCE – Brian Lagerstrom
- ½ Tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 bird's eye chili, seeded
- 38 g tomato paste
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 10 g sugar
- 5 g salt
- 1 tsp dried basil

TO ASSEMBLE
- 540 g store-bought pizza dough
- Store-bought shredded pizza cheese
- 1 egg + 1 Tbsp water
- Optional: garlic powder, dried parsley or basil

STEPS
1. Dough: Cut into 6 × 90 g pieces, roll into tight balls, cover, and rest at room temp while you work.
2. Meatballs: Heat oven to 475°F / 250°C. Mix sour cream, cream, egg, and bread until soaked. Add the rest and mix until just combined. Roll into 6 balls, about 220 g each, and set on a parchment-lined tray. Bake 30–35 min to 160°F / 71°C inside. Rest 10 min and pat off fat.
3. Sauce: Blitz everything but the oil in a food processor. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium, add the sauce, and simmer on low 15 min.
4. Drop oven to 375°F / 190°C.
5. Wrap: Roll each dough ball thin on a floured surface. Spread cheese over it with a pile in the center and set a meatball on the pile. Pleat the edges together at the top like a bao. Flip seam-side down onto a lined tray.
6. Whisk egg and water, brush over the tops, and sprinkle with garlic powder and herbs if using.
7. Bake 15–20 min until deep golden.
8. Serve warm with the sauce for dipping.

Tonight’s dinner Barramundi étouffée. Recipe in Alt. 9/10 could be spicier, but very happy with my first Cajun(ish) cooking in probably 5 years.

BARRAMUNDI ÉTOUFFÉE (serves 2–3)

INGREDIENTS
- 2 barramundi fillets (~400 g), skin on
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups poix + green pepper, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1½ cups seafood or chicken stock
- ½ cup diced tomato
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- Hot sauce, green onion, rice

STEPS
1. Roux: melt butter, whisk in flour, stir 8–10 min until peanut-butter colored.
2. Add veg + garlic, cook 5–7 min until soft.
3. Add seasoning, tomato, Worcestershire, stock. Simmer 15–20 min until thick.
4. Sear fish skin-side down ~4 min until crisp, flip 1–2 min.
5. Rice, sauce, fish on top. Finish with green onion + hot sauce.

The dev says it’s clean room recodes. The AI never sees source code, it’s just given a description of functionality and it codes from scratch. Knowing whether that is true would require a lawsuit, but if it is - likely legal. Even a source informed recode is a grey area if restructured

Keeps is too strong. I know of 2 and a kids book - like 150 pages tops and the novellas were both written before like 2014. Real scrabbling for whatever he can release vibes. GRRM has 3-4 times that just in Westeros plus some wild cards stuff plus 3 tv shows and i think 3 movies
