Couldn’t stand him. I saw Dennis Hastert at the Dirksen when he was arraigned, pled guilty, and sentenced. IMO, Judge Durkin (a nice kind man, who was my morning elevator buddy for years) didn’t give him as much time as he deserved. He was a sickly pathetic old man when I saw him. Good riddance.

I wish you all knew how seriously #Iowa takes the moniker #Hawks. My daughter graduated HS in Iowa. I was on awe when I’d go to her volleyball games. We’d play against Go-Hawks, J-Hawks, Redhawks, Little Hawks, New Hawks, Blue Hawks, E-Hawks, & Kee Hawks. Amazing. @tronlebowski.bsky.social

Watched it live. It was the most amazing testimony gotcha I’ve seen. Seeing their lies/conspiracy theory fall apart in real time by Klobuchar was perfect. He clearly can’t to the job of a US Senator. He should’ve resigned for health reasons months ago. His staff will have to do everything for him. He should be enjoying his last yrs at a nice elderly folks facility, not schlepping around the halls of the US Capitol. Borderline abusive.

I agree with this too. As an American who never voted for the man, I have great empathy for those folks who are affected negatively by those who did vote for him. Zero sympathy for his supporters. This is what they voted for Many are crying now about how his policies are effecting them. Oh well
