[dysphoria, hallucination] sometimes i'll be just on the edge of sleep and instead of feeling that weird falling sensation i''ll just hear a familiar voice shout my deadname and wake up again

they should rerelease every song as a single with new art and a remix by some artist called DJ Shitfaced where he just interrupts the song a third of the way through to go What! and starts playing a midass beat

I don't understand how Löve makes everything fun because I literally wrote a resource loader that I'm absurdly proud of in 90 lines of clean Lua

my text effect system is so stupid but i love it

lua code that applies a series of effects to text (shake and a few shadows to simulate "ghosts" and a fade)

@4caddit municipal internet varies wildly but in my experience it's vastly better than any dogshit corporation's dookiefart DSL packaged as fiber

windows 9x is so astonishingly awful and unstable and just all around miserable

computers have never been simple for as long as they've been in the home. DOS was a nightmare to get going with new hardware and everything else required you to punch in arcane statements to do literally anything

people have this overwhelming false nostalgia for windows 95. "it's back when computers were simple!" no it fucking wasn't lmao

the media won't tell you it but geoff had to fight kicking and screaming to get valve to not announce half life 3 at the game awards. "do it on christmas!" he cried. "it'll be so much cooler!" he pleaded
