my text effect system is so stupid but i love it

lua code that applies a series of effects to text (shake and a few shadows to simulate "ghosts" and a fade)

the resulting text, "yo..."

Kindness Midna @midna.wetdry.world.ap.brid.gy · 14/12/2025

text rendered in a typewriter font (Special Elite) that reads
"i have written a Complex Text Renderer for an RPG based on the children's television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"

there are various effects applied to demonstrate that it is, in fact, complex

chart. a bar. it's titled "Slipknot - Iowa" and consists of 3 categories, corey taylor vomiting on himself, left behind, and necrophilia. the entire bar is corey vomiting aside from a small segment towards the end labelled left behind and another tiny segment labelled necrophilia

windows 10 desktop with a wallpaper of some nice rock formations (the bing one right now i guess.) it has icons for jetbrains apps, vscode, adobe illustrator and photoshop, and two versions of propellerhead reason. they're laid out nicely in columns. the taskbar at the bottom is small and unobtrusive and contains file explorer, firefox and reason 12.

three portraits, one of a simple cartoonish ogre thing, one of a detailed skeleton girl and one very detailed but low palette one of billy from deadlock

digital sketch of zecora from my little pony: friendship is magic, a zebra. she has a neutral expression on her face and has her hair down (or is wearing a wig) as part of her nightmare night costume. her hair is also adorned with a fake spider. she wears a black cloak and an earring.

horse #mlp #art

simple, stylized drawing of pinkie pie from my little pony (friendship is magic) on a white background with thick, kinda rough outlines. she's staring off into the distance at something probably. big dumb smile on her face

shitty mockup but this with tabs

Kindness Midna @midna.wetdry.world.ap.brid.gy · 17/08/2025

as much as chuckya improves mastodon i really hate this. you can open both the announcements and the filters menu at the same time and then not realize it and spend a full 30 seconds trying to get both of them closed so you can open the notifications thing

the sidebar header in single-column mode. it has two buttons, both of which drop something down. they aren't exclusive.

Kindness Midna @midna.wetdry.world.ap.brid.gy · 17/08/2025

Kindness Midna @midna.wetdry.world.ap.brid.gy · 05/08/2025

they let me into gimp for 20 minute #art

weird composite of my mascot (the thumbs up dude) on various images (including a marker drawing of a borg eye on a CD and a wildfire)

the same but orange and evil

composite of a lake reflecting a broadcast tower with fucked up shades of green and blue (with a weird pinkish cloud). there's three stars in the top right, one's large and white, one's smaller and green, and one's tiny and dimmed cyan.
