Per a data review, performance of alternative vs traditional treatment is shown on this graph. Compared to receiving no treatment at all, alternative therapies did slightly extend survival length. Combining traditional and alternative therapies was actually less effective than traditional alone.

Like a majority of American households, we own no firearms. Why then have we not instituted sane gun control requirements?? Lobby $$$, and politicians who want it.
