You ever be interested in a game, play it, realize it’s not exactly what you thought it was, start to vibe with it, then get your experience hindered by bugs? That’s End of Abyss for me. It nails the atmosphere but isn’t scary, and could have been great with some refinement.

Toem 2 is another stellar, peaceful game by Something We Made. It's grown with its protagonist, now focusing on the power of community and being involved with those around you to make a better, more beautiful world. Toem 2 is the exact break from reality we all need right now.

Toem 2 Review: Captures a Wonderful Light and the Power of Community

Toem 2 is another delightful photographic journey that tells us all to slow down as well as explores the power of community.

Bengals did everything to improve one of the worst defenses in the league. And somehow the Oline thinks it’s okay to knock us down dozens of pegs.

y'know, I kinda love that the worst Disney park is the one that's getting regular appearances from early to mid-2000s Disney movies. Would to to Disneyland Paris just to see a Treasure Planet and/or Atlantis parade float or as part of one of their shows.

You ever make the mistake of going on Tiana's front row, thinking that you won't get too wet... then get completely drenched multiple times? Anyway, here's hoping my shoes and clothes dry before they get packed up tomorrow.

Hey so… what if the point of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy isn’t just to make 7 timeless and future proof… but to also solidify its connections to 10? I went way too overboard into this idea and wrote up how this seems to have already started and what we could expect in Revelation. Read here:

Mentioned it in here, but it’s odd that Xbox has 2 games releasing this year that have a big point of telling its lead to prove themselves and their legend. Really feels on the nose about the current state of Xbox.

So much happened in such a short video. I broke it all down, including how the storytelling in Disney worlds may have evolved, and how much legwork is needed to explain who all these different keyblade wielders in Quadratum are

061

Mick Abrahamson @mickthonymouse.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

So after watching the trailer for the 20th time now, couple things stood out: - Sora looks like he's retaining his Quadratum look in Plaza De La Cruz. So maybe it's not fully a Quadratum-only thing. - New minimap is soooo much more detailed - Sora gets the new Keyblade form so early?!

Took a look at past D23s that featured Kingdom Hearts to see if we can glean anything about what may be shown this weekend. Given the other big news around D23, strong possibility of something PIXAR. But Kingdom Hearts does whatever it wants with its announcements.

D23 Kingdom Hearts Panel Speculation: What Might be Announced?

Let's speculate about the D23 2026's Kingdom Hearts panel. A new PIXAR world for PIXAR's 40th? Or something that cements the clown make-up.

If Kingdom Hearts 4 does have a Coco world, and there isn't a scene where Miguel is singing to Mama Coco with Goofy just standing there, quietly weeping, then what are we even doing...

Netflix paying for brief exclusivity of a GTA 6 trailer is the type of dumb thing only a Netflix Exec could come up with to save their share price.

Halo Campaign Evolved rocks. It does the original more justice than the Anniversary Edition could ever do. But Campaign Evolved also feels bleak given everything going on with Xbox and Microsoft. Halo was the king of the 2000s, and Halo Studios' best Halo game so far is a remake of the original.

091

Mick Abrahamson @mickthonymouse.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

I swear, the Disney Animation people who are closer to the execs love to throw PIXAR under the bus whenever they can. Even though PIXAR has produced better movies consistently than Disney Animation in recent years.

So.... all that talk about being an industry leader just last week was bullshit, huh. Xbox must really only have two directions now, third-party publisher while cutting its console business. Or just shuttering. And the former being caused by their own parent company shoving AI in everything.
