I reckon there might be people who would read the comment on my little work calendar and say "Bravo" or "Gosh, how profound and wonderful", or some such other virtuous bollocks. I am sure as shit not one of them.

Small desktop calendar at work with a daily comment. Said comment is often virtuous ballshit, but today's nonsense is extra bollocks. It reads: "The climate of an effective team allows for the breezes of free expression without the storms of confrontation". Blahdy blahdy blurdy blurdy take your pompous virtue signalling head out of your arse and fuck a long long way away off.

The first time I saw The Undertones was in 1980 at Guildford Civic Hall. On the way there we had pints in Woking, then, in the 10 minutes or so on the train to Guildford, we each drank a big bottle of Thunderbird or Buckie. This time round I'm being tempted by a bloody pizza.
