#52maps week 39 - Hierarchy: This map shows all "roads" in Belgium, but I coloured the biggest roads in a lighter colour and local tracks and paths in darker. It gives an overview of the important places in the country. More info about #52maps can be found on 52maps.org // toot.community/@52maps
Cities and places where people go to relax are more visible on this map.

#52maps week 37 - Networks: This map shows the network of bus, tram and metro lines in Belgium operated by De Lijn, TEC and MIVB/STIB. More info about #52maps can be found on 52maps.org // mstdn.social/@52maps
This map shows the bus, tram and metro lines in blue without any other map layers. It is clear that in the north those lines are more densly concentrated in certain places and that in the south the lines are more spread around also in less densly populated places. You can also clearly make out the cities in Belgium on this map based on density of the lines.

#52maps week 29 - Correlation: The map on the left shows the locations of traffic accidents in Belgium. The map on the right shows the locations of friteries/fritkoten according to OpenStreetMap. Both maps are clearly very similar. More info about #52maps can be found on 52maps.org
Since both maps are essentially busy-places-maps, there is of course no correlation between friteries and traffic accidents.
