github.com/angular/angu... The new `strictUnclaimedEventNames` strict templates option (opt in) is lowkey great. I haven't seen much talk on it. Only camelcase stuff, but immediately catches stuff.

La CLI de Angular ha gestionado bien TypeScript 6.0 en varios de mis proyectos. Creo que ocurrirá lo mismo con el compilador de TypeScript 7.0.
TypeScript 6.0 has been handled good by Angular's CLI , in various projects of mine. I think that it will go well for this TypeScript 7.0 compiler.

Third party dependencies may need some more time than usual to get working with TypeScript 7.0, but they have had time with 6.0's compatibility APIs.

Es posible que las dependencias de terceros necesiten algo más de tiempo de lo habitual para funcionar con TypeScript 7.0, pero ya han contado con tiempo gracias a las API de compatibilidad de la versión 6.0.

Resource extensions the best things to happen to resources. I experimented with a demo and it was great. And you do not need to use the resources in a store to use them. They just work with any vanilla resource. I feel like these, especially their global config, should be in the framework itself.
NgRx resource extensions for configuring Angular resource behavior. Can be configured for entire app in the app's root providers.

I don't generally like to brag about open source stuff, but it was really cool to see three PRs closed out in the same chunk be the top of Angular `main`.
3/4 of the PRs to Angular's `main` branch were contributions from myself

If there is one thing I have learned from @deborahkurata.bsky.social, it's that you can learn about anything Angular related if you use a Star Wars API for example data. Disclaimer: what I DID NOT learn was what makes for a secure password standard! Code is my own lol github.com/michael-smal...

PR for adding support for using resource snapshots inside `withResource`. github.com/angular-arch... I felt like this would be a natural addition. Resources as you are used to them are writable and are technically the type `ResourceRef`. But snapshots are not writable, and are `Resource`.

NgRx PR: "feat(signals): add delegatedSignal" github.com/ngrx/platfor... "The `delegatedSignal` function creates a `WritableSignal` whose reads are delegated to a `source` computation and whose writes are delegated to an `update` callback. It is useful for bridging two state containers."

PR: github.com/angular/angu... Code for my snippet: github.com/michael-smal.... Checkout `signal-debounce` branch then `npm i --force` and wait a bit. This downloads the latest "nightly" aka basically `main` of Angular for the day.

The VSCode Angular Language Extension has an option to enable strict template errors that are only shown by the editor, rather than actually stopping compilation. This has been great for chipping away at modernizing pre-strict legacy code. And you can see stuff like univoked signal getter errors.

#4996 example github.com/ngrx/platfor... removes most of my little qualms with rxMethod/signalMethod, aka sometimes without the v21 change, you needed a helper computed or effect. But now with a computation function, you can combine what you need right there.

FYI if you haven't gone to the angular.dev docs relatively recently, "New" and "Updated" tags highlight fresh docs content. There are so many pages for Routing now that I had to inspect element out existing sections to highlight the new sections in one photo. angular.dev/guide/routing

My personal site (rough and only desktop atm), has a section on signals with live updating values. Assume anything has a live consumer. I know the $ prefix has fallen out of style. I mean to update it if people actually use the site. Open source btw: michaels-small-lab-and-utils.web.app/unsorted
