Done! Just realized it’s crashing on mobile though then went to your implementation to be hit with the same issue. I’m going to try forcing wasm and drop played audio buffers to reduce memory. We’ll see if that helps.

Yo thanks for the tips! My thinking is that every user of a given app becomes a peer. This only works in some use cases where there are enough peers that the data storage on each peer is negligible. Really depends on the data being stored. Text vs media for instance.

I’m imagining a world where all your app data is stored across other peer devices securely by breaking up every piece of data into many parts. (Too many parts to read anything intelligible locally) With enough scale, transfer speed, and quick recompilation maybe this is possible?

Congrats to @iroh.computer on hitting 1.0 👏 Was super interested when I first heard about the project because at the time I was thinking a lot about peer-to-peer connections in games. Since then, I’ve been thinking about distributed storage similar to how parts of the blockchain work.
