John Stewart belongs to neither the Green Lantern Corps nor to any law enforcement agency on Earth. He had neither the legal authority to apprehend Hal Jordan's killer nor the authority to let them go. What he did made him an accessory to Jordan's murder after the fact.

In the "Wormhole X-treme" episode of Stargate SG-1 there is a scene in which an executive suggests that instead of spending money to SHOW a massive alien ship the camera simply pan on an actor's face to have his expressions denote its impressiveness (in other words, TELL, by depending on the actor's

How many "real" fans who got giddy after Gunn confirmed that Jimmy Olsen was part of his plans for the DCU because they saw it as a middle finger at Snyder and his "cultists" felt betrayed when he killed Hal Jordan?

The "real" fans who soiled themselves because Snyder killed Jimmy Olsen and Superman in "Batman v Superman" and Affleck intended to kill Dick Grayson in "Batman" would REALLY appreciate it if people stopped complaining about "Lanterns" killing Hal Jordan. Damn cultists, learn your place!

Either Lanterns was made by morons who fucked up the CGI rendering of a Guardian so it came out looking like a Weaponer, or by master storytellers in which the Weaponers manipulated John's dumb ass into stealing Hal Jordan's Green Lantern Power Ring, Sinestro's Dark Lantern Lamp, and, essentially,

If February, October, and December are the three months out of the year respectively devoted to watch romance, horror, and holiday movies, which months should be devoted for watching science fiction, fantasy, and comic book movies?

You want to know the part that no one is talking about, not even the EXPERTS or so-called "REAL" fans who HATED the "Snyderverse" and DEMANDED DC movies and series be carbon copies of the comics?

Here we see Hal openly disagreeing with a clear racist. He is taking the position of "I don't agree with what you say, but I'll defend your right to say it".

A 60-year-old Gen Xer Hal Jordan whose father was a test pilot that died (intentionally or not) in a plane crash would have found solace in "Iron Eagle" and worshipped the ground Col. Charles "Chappie" Sinclair walked on.

A 60-year-old Gen Xer Hal Jordan would have grown up watching the Nick Nolte/Eddie Murphy movie "48 Hours", so he would know that being the racist white man partnered with a black man would be idiotic and cliche.

On Mondays I'm watching "My Adventures with Superman" and "Batman: Caped Crusader". While watching the latter yesterday, it was quite obvious that, just as "Batman: The Animated Series" in the '90s, the art style is heavily influenced by Fleisher Studios' Superman shorts of the '40s.

A series based on the clone saga starts with Professor Miles Warren becoming obsessed with Gwen Stacy. I really hope the series doesn't shy away from that. Since it's live-action it doesn't have to pussyfoot around it like a cartoon would.

Other than for the Spider-Man movies and Multiverse of Madness (on account of WandaVision) I haven't seen any Marvel Comedic Universe movies since Doctor Strange and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 (whichever came out last -- though I was forced to watch Brave New World against my will...)

Paranoid, small-minded, small-town ranchers who indiscriminately murder aliens like Macon and his cronies do in "Lanterns" are literally the kind of people Pa Kent sacrificed himself to protect Clark from in "Man of Steel".

The first thing that needs to happen in any sequel to Masters of The Universe must be that everyone -- except for Man-At-Arms, the Sorceress, and Orko -- must forget that Adam and He-Man are the same person.

Whereas Snyder created a live-action DC Universe in which both Superman and Batman could co-exist, Gunn created one that has no room for a version of Batman that comes anywhere close to the one seen in Reeves' Batverse. Let that sink in...

The Darkwing Duck reboot should include an appearance by Super Goofy that can be used as the lead it to a reboot of Goof Troop in which Goofy retires from being Super Goofy to raise Max, who then finds his father's costume in his closet.

In one episode of A Different World from the fourth season that I watched yesterday, the character of Colonel Taylor complains of being too old to jog, dance, and keep up with his wife. He was 47. Like, dude, shut up. I guess 47 in Boomer years is different from 47 in Gen Xer years..

In "Green Lantern: Rebirth", it is established that the Parallax parasite infected Hal Jordan's soul, not his physical self. It, likewise, established that the two are separate elements of the whole, with Hal's soul seen roaming the Earth while his body was in the custody of a Guardian.

Sinestro starts out as good and trains Jordan, then turns evil. Jordan starts out as good and trains Stewart, then becomes an a-hole. While I question the claims that Gunn is the comic book savant his fans make him out to be, I cannot help but see the Parallax parasite thread, especially given the

What if when the Singularity occurs, rather than destroy the world using nuclear bombs and enslaving the survivors, the sentient AI instead chose to redistribute the world's wealth equally between every living, breathing, and registered human being on Earth?

When "real" fans don't object to Hal Jordan committing outright murder like he does in Lanterns, it shows that their objections to Superman killing Zod in Man of Steel had nothing to do with it contradicting the comic book source material (in which both characters actually kill),

While both Megatron and Optimus Prime died in Transformers: The Movie, the former came back to life reborn as Galvatron while the latter stayed dead. When Prime eventually returned to life, he didn't upgrade like Megatron did. That doesn't seem fair.
